Privacy policy
DropLab is a simulator, not an online service with accounts. This page explains, plainly, what happens to data when you use it.
Local data
Your simulated inventory, opening history, favorites, and settings are stored locally in your browser — inventory and history in IndexedDB, favorites and settings in localStorage. None of it is uploaded to DropLab or any third party. No DropLab account is required, and DropLab has no server-side database of user data. Clearing your browser's site data for droplabz.xyz removes it permanently, and DropLab cannot recover it.
No real items
Nothing simulated here is a real Steam or CS2 item. No inventory transfers, trades, or purchases occur on DropLab, and no Steam account is connected.
Hosting & analytics
DropLab is hosted on Vercel, which may process standard request information (such as IP address and request metadata) to serve the site. DropLab uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights for aggregate, privacy-respecting traffic and performance metrics — no third-party advertising trackers or cookie-based profiling. Third-party data
Case, skin, and pricing data is sourced from public, community-maintained repositories (ByMykel/CSGO-API and the ByMykel counter-strike-price-tracker dataset) and committed to the app at build time. Item and case artwork is loaded directly from Steam's content delivery network. Those sources have their own terms and policies, which DropLab does not control.
Changes
If DropLab's architecture changes in a way that affects this policy, this page will be updated to reflect it.
